Idea for Advertising Cost

I am trying to put My Company's AD approximately 40 words and one mobile and one landline number.(included email words already)

Birmingham Mail asking me £175 plus VAT One Insertion.

Is it Normal?
average?
Expensive?
Give me an idea so I can proceed.

@ ishfaqsangra, Home Office did not required advert to be in a particular newspaper, so its better if you try alternative and cheaper adverts.

You can try gumtree which cost less than £10 for 2months placement. You can also try hibu.com which is free.

Thanks Darvesh(you respond me after long time) and Ola as usual for your timely response and free of cost advice.
I did post my add at Gumtree and web link as well(paid 4.95) and will later make it more prominenet by paying in some extra.
I have made Facebook page for the company as well.
I will give in newspaper,tried The Times ,an open add(without box) is £24 and in Sunday Times it is £48.
I am thinking to put in"The Times" will try tomorrow and lets see what they ask for.
My company Web is lso active,will print pages later on.
