application fees & work travel

Post by Lamiss » Thu Nov 07, 2013 4:53 pm

Hi,

I sent my EEA4 application on 06th August and received the COA on 16th August 2013.

As part of my application, my employer added a letter specifying how long I have been working for them and the fact that my work requires me to travel on a regular basis because my clients are based everywhere in Europe.

It's been 3 months now and I do not know when my applications will be processed and this has had a huge impact on my work and still has.

As part of the EEA4 application, they charge £55. I added my bank details and card details for them to deduct the fund. It's been 3 months now and they still haven't taken the money, which makes me believe noone has looked at my application yet.

Would anyone please tell me:
- If anyone added bank details, how long did the HO take to collect the funds?
- How long did it take for you to receive your passport back once they had collected the funds?
- How can I use my employer to stress how important/urgent it is for me to get my passport back ASAP as travel is 100% part of my job?

I read great and bad stories about other people's applications here. I just hope I won't fall into one of the horrible stories because that may cost me my job.

Looking forward to reading any advise.

Thanks

If you had followed the correct method of payment as specified on form then by this time at least you must have application acknowledgment. Moreover, if your EEA2 RC is still valid then simply request your passport and can travel. You should write them to inquire about the fee and to get your coa.
Please donot send PM. Write in open forum to facilitate others too.

Check your bank statements again.i think fee deduction is the first step before COA.
It's too late now.

HO proceed the card payments within 3 working days once they receive the applications,if some thing wrong with the card details then within few days HO return the documents by post to the applicants/solicitors address.
