Timeline for newborn dependent visa Tier 1 G

Post by KA941 » Sat Nov 09, 2013 12:11 am

Hi guys,

Just wondering if somebody can share their experience for time taken to process newborn visa application.

I'm on tier 1 general visa and just need to know roughly how long it will take to get visa application processed.

Also could you please confirm if the newborn would also need biometric?

Many thanks
KA

A visa is defined as permission to enter a country, so where is the child now? Otherwise, you must be referring to a residence permit for a child born in the UK, which is not necessary unless the child wishes to leave the UK and return.

Thank you for the reply and explanation

In that case I will need the residence permit as we plan to travel abroad?

What is the estimated timeline for residence permit and if biometric will be mandatory

Thanks!

If you are applying from within the UK, you should be using this application form and this is the cost.
