change of address while OCI application in progress

Hello,
I'll be applying for OCI sometime this week at HCI London.
The process could take upto 3 months.
In this time, what if we change our address in UK ?
1. Do they send any letters / notification ?
2. Will I have to inform them about this change ?

The only best option I could suggest is to apply in person and once you get the confirmation, collect it in person.

Within 6 weeks, if submitted in person & 8 weeks if sent by post. Applicants are required to check the status on MHA website at the following link : http://mha.nic.in/uniquepage.asp?id pk=553. No separate intimation will be sent to the applicant about the status of their application. Once the status shows "Documents received at London" with date, applicants should take action to collect the documents as per collection procedure. Receiving of application would be acknowledged online only within 4 weeks from the date of receiving application in OCI Wing.

No, you'll be able to check status online
Not required; if you however want to change your address in the OCI booklet you have to follow OCI misc services.

I am guessing the same is true for address in India, i.e. not need to update if address in India changes.

uk address will be printed on the OCI booklet but India address is mere information purpose only.
