urgent help on dependent visa

Hi,

My wife's employer is sponsoring her and her employment is about to start on 10th Jan 2014. she plans to come to UK on 8th Jan 2014.

My question is - I have got dependent visa to my wife.Can I come to UK before her ..say around 2nd jan 2014?
