Respectfully Disrespect

Story: One of my friend X got a job in India as a public servant and before joining his job, he was dreaming and making plans on how to eliminate corruption and getting justice for the people in need. He assured his friends that he is going to change the system, but after joining the job instead of changing the system he was changed by the system.
What we friends realized is that, after getting into the job he is just like any other public servant in my country, I am sure you guys know what I mean. We did a retrospective and found so many reasons for the change one of them is power has gone into his head.

The same way I found some senior members on this forum are behaving as if they are the ultimate source of information and they can talk whatever they want. One of the reason “POWER GONE TO HEAD”. Here the power I mean is the information or the knowledge they may have on the subject.I have read some posts and I should say I am disgusted with some of their attitude, they know how to respectfully disrespect other members.

WHY CAN WE SAY ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING IN A POLITE WAY, WHY SHOULD WE ANSWER IN A SARCASTIC WAY

I am sorry you feel this way. However, you must remember that this is an adult forum and that sometimes people may write things which appear to be sarcastic or harsh when in fact they mean no harm. Most members of the forum offer great help to those in need. You must also remember that many questions are repeated daily and sometimes people create similar/identical threads in an attempt to have their questions answered instantly. This can sometimes lead to what looks like sarcastic comments. However, if a member is directly insulting to others, which, you yourself have been guilty of, that is not tolerated and you will find your post edited and potentially further action if it continues. Perhaps most significantly, this forum is a voluntary arena and the free time given by members is limited and greatly appreciated.
