In UK On Tier 2 ICT | Refused Visitor Visa for Spouse

Hi Everyone,

I have entered UK on 23rd Oct this year on a Tier 2 ICT valid till 17th Sept 2014 from India. My wife applied for a "visitor visa" which was refused.I had sent her a letter of invitation.

Reason stated was that the tenure of stay of the applicant is not clear and they suspect she might overstay.

Would it be suggested that she applies for a Tier 2 Dependent Visa immediately, would her rejection of "visitor visa" hamper the chances of not being given a visa again.

Please help.

Would it be suggested that she applies for a Tier 2 Dependent Visa immediately, would her rejection of "visitor visa" hamper the chances of not being given a visa again. no, rejection of her vsisitor visa on the grounds stated would not be a reason for refusing a PBS Dependant visa.

Please help.
