Hope you are fine and well, and I am truly sorry if this is the wrong section.

I am seeking your kind experience regarding my mother in law. She is a solicitor in Jordan with a master's degree, and she is now studying PhD in Egypt. I am looking to get her here to live with me and my wife.

I was trying to find a legal firm to sponsor her to come and work here and live with us. She travelled to the UK several times for a 5 year visa which is still valid.

Do you mind, after your kind permission, enlighten me with the best and most comfortable way to manage this. What firms you think they might help.

Please bear in mind she is not looking for astronomical wage, the whole idea is my wife is her only daughter and my wife is feeling depressed being away from her mother.

Practically impossible unless you can get a Tier 2 sponsor which seems unlikely.

I'm afraid no amount of legal help will assist, it's up to her to find a T2 sponsor which on the face of it seems impossible.

Only realistic hope if you really want it is the Surinder Singh route, i.e. you go and relocate to another EU state and work there, call the MIL over and relocate to Uk - but I think for that as she would be an extended family member - you'd need to show dependancy, which as a qualified professional in her country puts you between and rock and a hard place.
