Seems Chennai is processing with an average from 55 working days as per the stats.

Worth checking some figures from Delhi or Mumbai BHC.

Hi Kalugampitiya,

This is really interesting. As per your records it seems the British High Commission had started processing your documents.
Did you get the document missing information from VFS or British High Commission from Chennai?

Any updates from candidates who had submitted their settlement application from other zones?
It seems Delhi, Mumbai North and Ahmedabad has processed Visa within 2 days as well. Quite good track record for Oct 2013.

My husband applied for spouse visa : 7th January 2013 Mumbai
Was Refused on: 18th March 2013
Appealed on: 27th March 2013
ECM deadline was set for: 10th September 2013
In October court date was set for: 24th February 2014
ECM reviewed our case and upheld the refusal decision and returned the bundle on: 7th January 2014

Now waiting for the court hearing
23 days left for the court

I am British man sponsoring my Indian wife.
Mumbai on early Monday morning 27 Jan 2014 requested the ORIGINAL proof (because we had submitted photocopies)of bank savings and they gave me 5 working days...so my bank had to courier to them urgently. I phoned Mumbai on Thursday 30 Jan 2014 to make sure that it has been received. Case is still in process.

hi SWAMI HERE (gujarati) my wife submitted on 18 dec 2013 in Pune..case went to Mumbai. Mumbai phoned me to request ORIGINAL bank savings proof on 27 Jan 2014 which has been done by courier so the case is in process

we submitted on 18 Dec 2013 and I have already recieved a phone call from Mumbai to request for a document
so that is much less than the 40 working days ......but our case is still in process though....
that is faster than i expected...........

It's been 58 working day since my husband submitted his case from ahmedabad,
So I rang british high commission mumbai, they said case is still under the process.
I'm so tired waiting this long,

I think we will get the visa next week which will then be about 40 working days..
...oohh the suspense ....is not nice..

is that the sort of time line you had ? about 40 w days (please dont count the holidays)
when you get your spouse visa is the validity from (start date ) straightaway ?
