Tier 2 dependent visa for wife

Post by abhi15 » Mon Nov 18, 2013 10:44 am

Hi,

I am working on Tier 2 general visa and planning to bring my wife here. I understand the maintenance funds for dependent is nearly £600. My question is do I have to show this fund in my UK bank account compulsorily or my wife can show the fund in her bank account in India as she will be applying from India.

Many thanks.

your wife can show the required maintenance funds (£600 held for at least 3 months) from her account in India or, alternatively, your sponsor can provide a written undertaking for her maintenance.
