SET M Help will be appreciated

Post by Jaycity » Mon Nov 18, 2013 9:44 pm

Hi Everyone.

Apology in advance if this has been addressed in the past but I am looking for a clear answer as seem to be confused . My details below

1. Feb 2007 student visa entry
2. May 2009 PSW
3. Got married to British citizen in June 2011 and was granted 2 year Visa on 12th Jan 2012 which expires on 12th Jan 2014.

4. It took 7 months to process my case and I have always stayed within my visa requirements

Question

1. Can I apply for ILR on 18th December 2013( 28 days before 12th Jan 2014)
2. As married to BC before June 2012 how long do I have to wait before apply for citizenship ?
3. Will I use SET M form for this process ?

Thanks for your help

Yes, Jay.

The answer to all your three questions is yes.

Once the ILR is granted you can apply for the citizenship.

Dil

Just want to caution you about SET(M) section 6, I had a set back by inadvertently answering a question on SET(M), So please be careful.
More details are in my reply and inviting review(ASAP) comments on it.
