PLS HELP ME Travelling for new passport

Please gurus i am submiting ROR soon with all neccesary documents,expired passport and valid full uk driving licence as proof of Id and also my Rc still valid for verification,

Can i ask my passport back after recieving COA ? bcos i need to travel to my home country for new passport as my embassy is delaying my passport application

Pls will HO process my application like that despite asking passport back?

Plsss Advice me on what to do pls members, any advice is very ver welcome,

How would you travel back to your home country with an expired passport? You need a valid passport to travel. Having a valid RC doesn't allow you to travel.

You need a valid passport to apply for RoR. Better to wait and apply when you have a valid passport.
