Status of a child after they turn 18

Post by EQp » Sat Dec 07, 2013 10:40 pm

I plan on immigrating with my wife and one child who will turn 18 before her mother is eligible for an ILR. She will be 16.5 years old when we enter. Most likely we will still be supporting her as a student even though she is older than 18. Can she get FLR and ILR with my wife as an adult dependent? Or will she have to apply on her own, thus having the problem of meeting the financial requirements?
