Tier 2 Change of Employment -- Notice Period

I am changing employer and as such I have applied for a new Tier 2 General visa.

My intention is to give 1 month notice period to the present employer once I get the visa/BRP from UKBA.
Once the new visa is issued, does UKBA allow for a overlapping period between the two visas (two employers) to allow for notice period?

the notice period is to do with your employment contract, it is not an immigration matter.

When you get your new leave you are only allowed to work for your current sponsor until the work start date stated in the new CoS
