So I arrived in the UK in 2009 on a 5 year work visa for hairdressing. I am about to apply for ILR…my problem is this…
The system has obviously changed to soc codes…it says the category I am in isn't eligible for a work visa???? I am freaking out, does my position need to be bumped up to manager of the salon to be eligible? What if it says on my work visa my position is senior stylist? Would it be ok to be moved up to manager?
Or do I fall under old rules and this doesn't matter?
