Applying for ILR in 2014 --Please Help !!

Post by tripas33 » Sun Dec 29, 2013 9:32 pm

Hello Guys,

I need you assistance once again to apply for an ILR in May/June 2014.
My stay of 5 years is a combination of Work Permit and Tier -1 visa.
I need to apply by end of June 2014 in order to abide by the rule of no more than 180 days of absence from UK for any give year.
I plan to apply in person opting for same day visa processing service.
Below is my breakup of stay - would be kind enough to advice it the calculation looks Okay for applying for ILR

Year 1:
July 2009 to June 2010 ( 164 days of absence from UK. Working from offshore on the same assignment. Supporting letter provided from the company)
Year 2:
July 2010 - June 2011 (165 days of absence from UK. Working from offshore on the same assignment. Supporting letter provided from the company)
Year 3:
July 2011 - June 2012 (36 days of absence from UK. On annual leave . Supporting letter provided from employer)
Year 4:
July 2012 - June 2013 (47 days absence from UK. Was self employed during the period)
Year 5:
July 2013 - June 2014 (45 days absence from UK. Was self employed during the period)

Do you think, based on the above , it is valid to apply for an ILR in May/June 2014 ?

Many Thanks,
Tripas

Your absences for each year is below the threshold 180 days so you should be fine provided you meet all other requirements..
