Discretionary leave to remain

Post by Freaky » Tue Jan 14, 2014 4:35 pm

Hi all
I was granted DLR nearly 6 years ago, the time has come to make that ILR application. I have a british girlfriend and been with her since I was sgranted DLR, we have a child together and have been living together up until a couple months back. I have an Illness and will be on meds till the end.
I assume the DLR was granted due to a combination of my illness, being with a British lady and having a child togther. The letter does not state clearly the basis on which it was granted. Am I right in thinking that if I apply for ILR this wil be viewed as changed circumstances therefore might jeopardize my chances?
We have not split up, I spend a lot of time at hers, just other things going on that we need to work out.
Your views wil be appriciated greatly.
Thanks
