maintenance funds required to apply Tier 2 dependent visa

I need some information on the maintenance funds required to apply Tier 2 dependent visa please.
I have been in the UK since August 2010 in Tier 2(ICT) visa now.
Now I want to apply for the Tier 2 general visa(Diff employer) and the dependent visa as well at the same time. The only confusion is the maintenance funds
I know that i can claim automatic points for Maintenance funds as per the below info on UKBA website:

You will also automatically score 10 points for maintenance if you are currently in the UK in one of the following immigration categories:
any Tier 2 category
work permit holder

But what about the dependants. Does i need to show the maintenance funds for dependents or would it be okay since I scored 10 points automatically?

Can someone help me on this regard?

57. If you apply at the same time as the main applicant, you are only required to provide evidence that you meet the maintenance requirement when the Tier 2 Migrant is also required to meet the maintenance requirement.

So does that mean we dont have to show maintenance even if the dependents current visa is psw and they just switch to tier 2 dependent if they apply at the same time as the main applicant?
