URGENT* Switch from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 Dependant

Folks,

I am in need of a clarification. I am in the UK on Tier 2 Migrant since July last year. My wife is in India and she now has a Tier 2 Migrant's Dependant visa. Now she has got a project with an IT co. in India and they would ask her to apply for a Tier 2 ICT as per their policy they wudnt accept the tier 2 Migrant's dependant visa.

Two questions:

1. When she applies for Tier 2 ICT, will the Tier 2 Migrant's dependant visa gets cancelled?
2. Let's say she is in UK on ICT for 12 months , after that does she have to return to India or switch to tier 2 migrant's dependant visa? She is plannin to quit that IT project after 11/12 months.

Please advice.

it would but she couldn't get a T2 ICT CoS and visa unless she worked for the company for at least 12 months. She could come to the UK with a Tier 2 General visa though if the company's UK branch assigned a restricted CoS to her

2. Let's say she is in UK on ICT for 12 months , after that does she have to return to India or switch to tier 2 migrant's dependant visa? She is plannin to quit that IT project after 11/12 months.
if she is in the UK with T2 leave she can switch back to dependant status in-country

Thanks for the quick reply.

she is with that IT co. for almost 5 years now, so she would definitely get the Tier 2 ICT and lets assume the Tier 2 Migrant's dependant gets cancelled.

Now after she spent 12 months here in UK on Tier 2 ICT and when she quits that IT co. Can she swtich to tier 2 migrant's dependant in the UK or go back to India and apply for dependant from India?
