spouse entry clearance

Post by bulbul614 » Tue Mar 04, 2014 8:44 am

i have re-applied spouse entry clearance to uk after it was refused previously due to shortfall of financial requirement. i appealed but did not succeed. in my new re-application, i have submitted the last six months of my spouse salary slips, in this six months my spouse was on sick leave for five weeks and was getting statutory sick pay of £ 86 p/week after that she restared her job. Total for these last six months is £ 6400 so the total per year gross salary is £ 12,800 but i have enough saving to cover the differecne between 18,600 - 12,800. my question is how the entry clearance officer will calculate the total gross salary of my spouse..is he going to calculate the last six months total or he will take the £ 86.00 multiply by 26 week.

please advice. Thank you

I know very little re-immigration rules, but it does not sound simple as adding up savings to make up for the shortfall, don't waste your money just yet.
