Tier 2 Visa - Switching job - Requirement for dependent visa

Hi All,
I am currently on a Tier 2 General visa and i am looking to switch job and would therefore be applying for a new Tier 2 General visa with a different sponsor.

Would my dependent need to reapply for her visa as well and if so what is the process; does she need to show funds in her bank account, etc like for the initial application.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
