Tier 2 to ILR

Post by pghs » Tue Mar 11, 2014 12:55 am

Hi,

I came into UK on tier-2 general visa in Jul-2009 & visa is expiring this August. I was sent on assignment outside UK by my Employer for 20 months in June-2010. My salary was paid in UK along with taxes during the assignment. I visited UK every 6 months during the assignment. With the current rules of UKBA, will I still be eligible for ILR this year? If not, does the 6 years tier-2 visa extension limit apply to me (or is it for UKBA or my Employer to decide)?

Please share any similar experience and/or advise likelyhood for my ILR.

Regards
pghs
