Can anyone confirm how UKBA return passports and documents back? Courier/Royal mail etc. Do I need to be at home to sign for delivery? Many thanks

UKBA sends documents & BRP cards by first class royal mail signed for and therefore it requires a signature for delivery. If you miss the delivery, it will be stored in a close-by royal mail depot (i.e., max. of 14 to 18 days) and could be collected in person by showing any IDs.
