Family Visitor visa for my wife

Post by dinushka » Wed Mar 12, 2014 6:42 pm

hi guys,

I have RoR (retention of right of residence) resident card after divorce with EEA national in 2012. I made another marriage in 2013 with a Pakistani woman. I have not got my PR yet, so that's why I can not get my wife here in UK on spouse visa. And that's why i'm thinking to get my wife here for couple of months on "Family Visitor visa". So in this matter I need the guidance of you guys, under you experiences and knowledge. I'm doing permanent job with 30 hours per week contract for last 3 years. I get about £900 after tax and National Insurance Contribution. Do no have any saving as well. Living on rental property, I have contract of that.

Can I sponsor my wife under "Family Visitor visa"?
if yes, then, do I have to have some saving in my account? if yes, then how much minimum for short term visit visa for about 3 months?
Does she also have to show some money in her bank account in Pakistan? if yes, then how much minimum for short term visit visa for about 3 months?

I will be very thankful of you guys, if you can help me out.

General visitor, not family visitor.
