Is Bank Statements a must?

Post by hsmp_distressed » Sat Jun 02, 2007 8:02 pm

Hello All,
I am planning to file my HSMP application in a week's time. This is my 2nd attempt. My earnings period is April 1, 2006 -- March 31, 2007 (12 months). My questions are:
1. Since 12 out of previous 15 months will be considered, is it needed to provide for earnings in the last 2 months (April 2007 and May 2007) as well for a stronger case?
2. Since my wageslips attested by my employer and income tax return period match, do I still need to provide for bank statements?
3. Instead of getting statements from the bank for a 12 month period, is it ok to get a letter that 12 cheques with so-and-so no. have been credited to my a/c. My employer has already given an attested copy of the 12 cheque numbers by which I was paid for this period.
