Sisters UK General Visitor Visa

Post by Richa B » Wed Apr 02, 2014 3:21 pm

Hi All,

I am planning to apply a general UK Visitor Visa for my sister. As my sister is young and dependent on my parents and this will be her first visit to UK.
I am afraid about her Visa as I have read few posts where young unmarried jobless applicant's visas were rejected on ground of missing strong ties from India and there intention to return to India.

Below are few details:
Nationality: Indian
Age of Sister: 23/ Single
Completed her bachelors education two year ago
Non working - Dependent on my parents
Parents - Both doing government Jobs, can produce salary slips and bank statement or letter from employer
My sister has recently got selected in FCI (Food corporation of India) for Job, Joining will be in mid June tentatively. She only has her admission card and the document published on FCI website mentioning her name/roll number as one of selected candidates.
She has one lakh in her joint account with my mother and a land on her name.
My husband has Tier -1 General and I have Tier -1 Dependent, Both of us are working in well renowned firms in UK with good salaries. My husband has been staying here for last two years. I am here for last sixx months.
We will totally Sponsor her visit and have good balance in our salary accounts and she will be staying with us in our two bed rented apartment.

Please suggest which documents should I attached to ensure that her visa does not get rejected. I want here to be here by 20th April as she will be joining first job in June starting.

Expecting a quick reply. Thanks in advance

Regards

Richa
