Hi there. Can anyone help with my enquiry please?

If a spouse has a tier 2 work visa and upon returning back to his country has made a tier 2 dependant visa for his family, he has returned back to the UK but after how long or within which time limit has his family got to join him? Some people told him that they have 1 month to join him and others say longer.

What is the correct length of time his family must join him here?
