job possibilities for working holidaymaker

Hi all,

I plan to apply as a working holidaymaker - I am 28 Canadian national but yet not making enough to quality for the HSMP.

I am an IT consultant (SAP), and hope to do some contracting in my profession while in the UK.

How do employers perceive the working holidaymaker? Is it seen as a 'valid work permit' as any other? Are there any restrictions?
