My husband overstayed his Uk visa. His friend had a motorbike accident.
A drunk van driver hit him and he had an operation.
This happened in July 2012.
His friend also an overstayer used my husbands name at the hospital and with the police. The friend had an operation. No fingerprints were taken.
His friend was driving without insurance or license. In November my husband he voluntarily returned to his country.
We applied for spouse visa in January 2013.
In March 2013 we found out my husband had been summoned to court and the court had found him guilty and ordered him to pay 700pounds.
We only found out all this in March 2013. And my husbands visa was refused in March also but for another reason.
In the spouse visa we put NO as our answer for traffic offense as we was not aware of this incident.
We only found out from the letter received in March 2013.
The fine still has not been paid. And my husband does not know which friend used his ID.
The court letter does not have my husbands full name and its spelt wrong. They only have his birthday right.
The address the letter was received at is not the address he was living at.
I0S101 which he received from the home office before he returned to his country shows he lives at another address.
How do i fix this mess?
I've still not found out if we've won the appeal.
