English test for Tier 2 dependent visa?

Hi all,

I'm applying for a Tier 2 visa along with my wife and 9 month old baby.
Does my wife need to have passed an English test in order to apply?

She is a post graduate and has done her courses in English.
If English language proficiency is needed, can we prove through NARIC that her course was taught in English and will that be enough then? Or does she need to give the test anyway?
