Return of passport request

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to share a very friendly experience I had with the GNIB in Dublin. I applied for a Residence Card and had to supply my passport and my british wife's passport with the application. We both needed to travel within a week so we wrote a note in the application explaining we needed to travel and would like our passports back. They responded via email fairly soon and returned them to us via registered post after a few days. They were quite friendly and efficient and we both got to travel when we needed. If I had known that I would have applied for the RC one month sooner...

Just wanted others to know it was that simple... All the best!
