Switch jobs on Tier 2 ICT (long term)

Hi,

I am currently on Tier 2 ICT visa (Long term) and travelled to UK during Sept 2013.
Visa start date - Sept 2013.

What I wish you get advise on is - Am I allowed to switch jobs on Tier 2 ICT visa (Long term) visa. If not, can I switch to Tier 2 General visa being in UK or do I have to go back to India (visa stamping required or cooling off).
Apologies, as I am unaware of the process.
