does 50K has to be invested in six months ? Pls help

Could some body help me that the funds of 50K has to be invested in 6 months after getting your visa or they can be invested anytime within first three years of visa before first extension. My extension is due next year so your help will be much appreciated .

u need to invest in 3y time however before u go for extension.
