Contracting under Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa?

Post by 0be_mused » Mon Apr 28, 2014 12:17 pm

Hi,

I'm interested in setting up an advertising/consultancy business under the Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa and wanted to know if you are allowed to contract the services of the employee (who has the Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa) out to other companies under this visa? e.g. The limited company gains a contract with an advertising or consultancy business for which the Tier 1 visa holder completes the work and the limited company invoices this business for the time spent/projects completed.

Is this business type accepted under the Tier 1 Entrepreneur via guidelines? (I can't see that it's not but wanted to confirm with others)
Does anyone have any examples of how they've gone about setting up businesses under the Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa in this way?
How have companies responded to hiring the services of limited companies in this way? Are there any major hurdles that need to be overcome to convince them that this is an accepted by the UKBA?

Thanks in advance for your help!

u pretty much answered ur own question. in T1E visa u can render ur services through ur own company and ur compnay get paid through invoice. u cant take any direct employment however can do job through ur compnay and that contract u need to show as business activity and u being engaged in the business.
