How long certificate of sponsorship will take in UK

Hello, I have been offered a place in the UK university. I am currently in the UK submitting my PhD thesis.

If my university HR apply for sponsorship certificate to UKBA, may I please know how long it will take to get back to university HR/myself?

I am in a hurry due to family reasons and would like to travel to INDIA ASAP, hence applying for premium service to get my visa done in UK, however not sure about how long sponsor number application will take?

I need to book an appointment for premium service, but cannot decide on which date to book, as I do not know usually how many days certificate of sponsorship will usually take upon application from HR (University) for my sponsorship number/certificate.

Any help or advise will be much appreciated.
