SET(M) spouse ILR with only overseas income

Post by johnnic » Thu May 22, 2014 8:05 pm

I am soon to apply for ILR using SET(M) . My income, as well as the income of my spouse who has right of abode and is my sponsor, is entirely from overseas sources. We are both retired and will not be working in the UK.

Does anyone have experience with this type of situation? Am I likely to encounter any issues with UKBA?

John

PS Not that I think it is particularly relevant but for completeness sake, I should mention that our annual income is equivalent to about £50,000, we own our home in London (along with the bank) and we have savings in our home country equivalent of around £400,000. I think I meet all the other identified criteria.

Just show bank statements for savings and pensions and there shouldn't be an issue.
