Return Of Documents - Timelines

Hello Everyone,

I've started this thread to seek feedback from people (like me) who have requested return of their documents (including your passport) for travel, whilst their visa application (Tier 2 General) is still under process.

I had applied on 30th Jan 2014 to switch from PSW to Tier 2 General and still havent received a decision on my visa and due to urgent travel needs I requested my documents (including passport) to be returned (requested on 21/05/2014) and subsequently withdrew my application as well. I requested through the online form found at https://www.gov.uk/visa-documents-returned which states that it takes upto 10 working days for the documents to be returned. It's been 8 working days since I requested them and havent received them yet (02/06/2014).

If this relates to you, can you please share your request date and documents received date in this thread so that people can come to know the number of days one needs to wait before the documents are actually returned?
