Urgent Help Needed - COS End date question

Hello all,

My dependent and I recently applied for an extension to our Tier 2 leave. On my COS, it states:

Start Date: 2.8.2014
End Date: 2.8.2017

We paid the fees in accordance to a 3 year visa, but we read a post today where a user was Rejected due to the fact that the UKBA considered their visa to be 3 years + 1 Day, even though the dates were exactly 3 years apart.

My question: Does my sponsor have the correct COS start and end dates for a 3 year visa? Or should it read:

Start date: 2.8.2014
End Date: 1.8.2017

Any help would be appreciated, and since our application is in, we're in a bit of a time crunch to notify our sponsor to make a COS amendment before our app is under consideration. Thanks!
