Appointment Date Change for docs submission at VFS Centre

All ,

Can some one advice if I can change the appointment date to later date for documents submission at VFS centre ?

I have done the application on line and selected the date , now , I am waiting for documents to reach India which are delayed , so want to know if i can change the date and if Yes , how many days in advance I need to make this change ?
