Tier 2 General 5 years and 3 years

Post by sanny223 » Fri Jun 27, 2014 1:06 pm

Hi

I am currently in PSW looking to switch to Tier 2 general as new entrant .

I needed company to issue me a 5 year (long term ) but they have issued me 3 years .

Following is the mail thread
"Hi Saneera,

The CoS has been assigned to you xxxxxxxx – commences on 1st July 2014.Because you are not under the experienced hire category, the certificate has only been issued for 3 years.

If you wish to have the hard copy you can call to me on Monday and I will print this off for you. "

Can you guys help me to find rule which say only experience applicant can be issued certificate of sponsorship more than 3 years .

I tried and did not see any of that kind .

Note -My HR department is very good at making fault statements.

If when switching from T1 PSW to T2G you want to take advantage of the new entrant salary rate you cannot apply for more than 3 years leave.

See Immigration Rules Appendix J, para 14(d) - your HR dept. is right.
