I come to know from some of my friends that the rules for ILR has been changed recently. According to new rule, if you are applying for Tier 2 sponsorship visa from Employer, your salary must be minimum 35K in order to apply for ILR after 5 years. I am wondering whether can i get any reference to prove this statement?

As you didn't have tier 2 leave in ICT category before 6th April 2010, you're NOT eligible to apply for ILR. The only option will be to move into Tier 2 general visa, after spending 12 months cooling-off period in your home country. After you spend 5 years in the UK with Tier 2 general visa, you'll become eligible for ILR, if the UKBA (home office) rules remains the same as it's now.aanand_r wrote:Hi,
I came to UK in August 2012 with ICT2 short-term Visa and my visa got extended for 2 year with ICT Long term and now getting an another extension for 3 more years which mean from Aug 2012 to April 2018, so I complete 6 year, is it possible to apply for permanent resident in UK
