Tier 2-> ILR Salary requirement

Hi experts,

Correct me if i am wrong but does the new 35k salary threshold apply to applicants who got their initial tier 2 granted after April 6 2011 and not the ones before that,its just that I got mine issued in June 2010 and due for ILR in June 2015 and was wondering would this 35k requirement affect me.

Also is their a link someone can provide for the ruling and is it true it comes into effect from April 2016 onwards and not in 2015

Yes, you are one of those lucky ones who escape this threshold, as long as you apply before 6 April 2016, and meet other requirements.
