Working Holiday Maker - Letter of Support

Hi

I hold an Australian passport and am going to apply for the WMV in Hong Kong. Would it be better to have found a job first and an employer to write me a letter of support or would a letter of support written by my parents produce the same effect? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.
