UK Tier 2 ICT Long Term Visa question

Hello all,

I currently have received a Tier 2 ICT long term visa from my company that expires April 2015. I have not traveled to the UK on this visa yet and it doesn't look like I will be needing to use the visa with this company due to my company not needing me to work in the UK now. Will I be able to cancel my current visa and apply for another visa with a different company in the UK immediately or does the cooling off period apply to my situation?

If you have not travelled, the cooling off does not apply to you.
