Help with switching from Student Visa to Tier2

Hi i am currently under student visa and working part time as a web developer. Due to circumstances i failed my Masters and did not obtain a degree but my boss is ready to sponsor me for tier 2. Is this possible at all? Is der minimum requirement of a student who came here for post graduate to have definitely passed her degree in order to switch or can i still apply as i have a sponsor willing to sponsor me. Kindly help me cause i can't afford to pay a solicitor.

You need to pass a UK degree to get exemption from the RLMT but if your employer puts out the appropriate adverts etc and you are the get candidate you can stillbeoffered the job.
