family visitor visa

Hello, Need urgent advice please. My parents have visitor visa for 3 yrs now. They have been here from May for 4 months this year 2014. they are going in september n will be back in January 2015 again. So they will have 4 months gap in between their two visits. Is it ok? is there any specified months gap with in two visits?
Help appreciated please.
