i finaly got my resident permit

i finaly got my resident permit

i have been waiting 4 years for my marriage application so i cantact my mp they write to the home office then home office write me back asking for new document i could not send them every thing so i write a nice covering letter explaining why and now i receive my 3 years visa so thank you every on this site and wish you guys good luck

Congratulations on the visa!

However, a 3-year visa? Are you sure? If so, what sort of application is it that gets you a 3-year visa?

Discretionary Leave is given for 3 years (outside the rules) as a result of the successful application under the DP3/96 policy.

what happen when the three years finish what next

Extension for another 3 years if your circumstances leading to your DL are the same, or deparing from the UK, if not.
You should have received a grant letter together with your residence permit that explains you exactly what you need to do.
