Switching from tier 2 ICT dependent to tier 2 general

Hi,

I wanted to know if I could switch visa status from tier 2 ICT dependent to tier 2 general from withing the UK? If not, how does restricted and unrestricted CoS apply in this case? Does it make any difference?

No, you cannot.

You employer has to conduct an RLMT and assign a restricted CoS to you. You can then apply for entry clearance from your home country.
