acknowledgement letter

hi
i have applied for Tier 1 entrepreneur visa on 14/08/2014 and delivered to home office next day on 15/08/2014. its been more than 2 weeks, i have not received ACKNOWLEDGEMENT letter from home office. Application fee was through Bankers draft// today 01/09/2014, still not received anything from home office, worried about that!!! can anyone give me some information!!!

You can check with your bank if Banker Draft has been cashed, They don't provide such information easily but I got mine after some strong discussion with bank. Thanks.

Don't worry. It's taking long these days. Many of my friends applied in last 2 months and some of them got acknowledgement letter after 3 weeks.

relax bro, sometimes drafts take up to two weeks to clear, i say monitor your account to see if money has been withdrawn. If not then make sure you dont have any missed mail incase you have made a mistake in your app and your stuff has been sent back to you

I dnt think any problem phoning UKVI for the information for the satisfaction. question could be as simple as whether they received your application as you have never heard anything back from them since you applied

My brother had similar situation like yours and he had received the BRP request letter directly after almost 18 days. He didn't get any acknowledgement letter. I know it gives us mountains of stress but try not to worry, they show varieties of variation in there procedures, really.
