Baby born outside UK for both parents on ILR

Post by sonub4ualt » Wed Sep 03, 2014 9:42 am

We had our first child in UK when we were on Tier 1 General and dependent. We subsequently applied for registration as british citizen under MN(1) after getting our ILR's. My wife is due 2nd baby and our 1st one is nearly 2 years old now.

We are planning to have the 2nd baby delivered in India due to no additional family members to assist with delivery. As we both are on ILR, do we have to fulfill the financial requirements of 24,800 or can I apply for ILE and how long she can stay in India with both kids.

Thanks
Sonu

The child can apply for Right of Adobe which permit him to enter and live in UK. Later he can also apply as British Citizen.
